Rebecca Walima Allred PT, DPT, OCS

Dr. Walima Allred joined as a full time staff therapist in 2005, and brings to the clinic a strong commitment to quality patient care in orthopedic physical therapy. She holds a BS degree from the University of Massachusetts Lowell in Exercise Physiology and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree also from UMass Lowell. Dr. Walima Allred received her Orthopedic Clinical Specialization Certification in 2011. This prestigious certification gives her the title of Orthopedic Clinical Specialist as recognized by the American Physical Therapy Association. Dr. Walima Allred has served as a clinical instructor for full time doctoral interns at the practice, and continues to pass on her expertise to her students. Her former experience at New England Baptist Hospital has given her a wide range of experience in working with patients following joint replacements and spinal surgeries. As a retired gymnast and avid skier she works well with this population and continues to act as a consultant for local gymnastics teams. Her specialties include lumbopelvic treatment and examination, shoulder treatment and examination of pre and post surgical patients including rotator cuff repairs, total shoulder replacements, and reverse total shoulder replacements, and complicated orthopedic patients with multiple diagnoses.
